Membership Requirements
To become a JITOA member, your company must comply with the following requirements according to membership category:-
>> Active Members: (TOUR OPERATORS)
| 1. Must be registered at the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Licensed as a Tour Operator from the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquates (Category A or B). |
|
|
2. At least 3 years experience in Inbound Tourism Industry operating as a legal licensed tour operator. |
|
| 3. Achieved at least 1000 (one thousand) Room Nights and registered at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in the previous year of application. |
|
| 4. Join JITOA’s Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy. |
|
| 5. To adhere to JITOA bylaws and other sectors’ regulations and guidelines. |
>> Associate Members: (CORPORATE)
| 1. Must be registered at the Ministry of Industry and Trade. | |
|
2. To adhere to JITOA bylaws and other sectors’ regulations and guidelines. |
>> Associate Members: (INDIVIDUALS)
|
1. Must be working in the field of tourism or have a relevant interest in inbound travel and tourism in Jordan. |
|
|
2. To adhere to JITOA bylaws and other sectors’ regulations and guidelines. |
>> Honorary Members
| Members under this category are assigned upon decision from JITOA Board of Directors. |
JITOA has more than 60 members including the top producers, as more than 70% of the packaged tours coming to Jordan are coming through our members.
