Training Profile
JITOA has shown great success in this field, while providing effective training courses customized to the Jordan tourism sector needs, and partnering with international and local educational institutes to provide high quality trainings and certifications.
The importance of these training programs lies in supporting the tourism industry and assisting them in developing and rehabilitating their personnel in the hospitality and tourism organizations.
JITOA conducted several programs including English language development programs and professional skills workshops, including:-
• English for Tourism Program
• Business Writing Skills
• Event Management Certificate Program (GWU)
• Destination Management Certificate Program (GWU)
These courses are created to increase educational opportunities and help to improve the efficiency of tourism services through conducting special seminars and professional training courses in addition to providing Certification opportunities.
Now JITOA is working with the Tourist Police to set up customized programs and special trainings to their staff in the field of English language learning and needed communication skills.
JITOA is one of the major institutes in providing professional training and certification to the Jordan tourism sector, since its inception JITOA has operated various courses to more than 1000 students from around 100 tourism organizations.
